Scope of the Jersey Mike's nutrition table

This Jersey Mike's overview covers 36 size records across 12 deliberately selected subs rather than claiming a complete national menu archive. The set includes seven cold subs, two clubs, and three hot cheese-steak or Philly-style products. Each published row points to a product-and-size endpoint used by the restaurant's public nutrition interface, while an unavailable size remains explicitly empty.

Mini, Regular, and Giant are preserved as the official selector labels instead of being converted to an invented mass or length. All nine selected cold subs publish those three sizes. The selected hot subs publish Regular and Giant but not Mini, so their Mini calories, protein, sodium, and other nutrition fields remain null. Wrap, Bowl, catering, breakfast, regional, and limited-time configurations remain outside this dataset.

How default-build totals are calculated

The official Jersey Mike's endpoint returns ingredient rows and labels whether each ingredient is included by default. ChainMenu sums only rows marked with the default inclusion code for the selected Regular product. For Jersey Shore's Favorite, that means the published default ham, cappacuolo, provolone, oil blend, vinegar, oregano, salt, white bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Optional jalapeños, banana peppers, pickles, mayonnaise, extra meat, or substitutions do not enter that headline total unless a specific product includes them by default.

Ingredient-level values carry more decimal precision than a consumer-facing label normally displays. The restaurant's public code rounds total calories to the nearest five below 50 and to the nearest ten above 50; ChainMenu applies the same rule. Fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrate, fiber, sugars, and protein are summed from default rows and rounded to two decimal places only after addition. The frozen source snapshot retains the original strings for auditing.

Customization can materially change the result

A Regular cold sub with oil, vinegar, and vegetables is not nutritionally identical to the same named meat and cheese on different bread or without oil. Club Sub and Club Supreme include mayonnaise in their official default ingredient sets, while several other cold subs do not. Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak includes chipotle mayonnaise by default. These build differences help explain why apparently similar names can separate sharply on fat, calories, sodium, and sugars.

The figures on ChainMenu are therefore not a promise for every customized order. Removing oil, changing bread, ordering a Bowl, adding extra cheese, or doubling meat requires a different official calculation. A user should match the exact product, size, and default state before comparing. If the restaurant interface shows a new ingredient selection, use that current result instead of treating this August 2026 snapshot as permanent.

Calories and protein among Regular subs

Within this 12-item set, Mike's Chicken Philly lists 680 calories and 48.34 grams of protein, while Club Supreme lists 1,190 calories and 59.31 grams of protein. Turkey and Provolone lists 820 calories with 45.37 grams of protein. Tuna Fish lists 1,060 calories but 33.10 grams of protein because its default fat contribution differs substantially from the meat-and-cheese builds around it.

A protein sort can identify the largest absolute total, but protein density and the complete sandwich context remain important. Club Supreme leads the selected set in protein and also carries 76.74 grams of fat and 2,050.66 milligrams of sodium. Mike's Chicken Philly provides less total protein but starts 510 calories lower. Neither comparison creates a universal recommendation; it makes the attached tradeoffs visible.

Fat reflects more than the named meat

The Veggie is meatless by name yet lists 950 calories, 58.57 grams of fat, and 20.23 grams of saturated fat in its default Regular build. Provolone, Swiss, oil blend, bread, and vegetables all contribute to that total. Tuna Fish lists 74.74 grams of fat, while Mike's Chicken Philly lists 21.67. A category label alone cannot substitute for the ingredient-level arithmetic.

Club Sub and Club Supreme include bacon, cheese, oil blend, and mayonnaise in their default rows. Their fat totals exceed 76 grams. By comparison, Ham and Provolone and Jersey Shore's Favorite are near 44 grams. The table keeps saturated and trans fat in the detail view so a reader can distinguish overall fat from its disclosed subcomponents.

Sodium is high across this selected set

The lowest sodium value among the 12 default Regular builds is 1,310.48 milligrams for The Veggie, followed by 1,348.35 for Tuna Fish. The Original Italian reaches 2,571.21 milligrams, and Club Sub lists 2,563.90. Those numbers are relative comparisons within a sandwich set, not evidence that the lower entries meet a regulatory or medical definition of low sodium.

Bread, cured meats, cheeses, dressings, salt, and sauces can all contribute. Removing or substituting an ingredient would change the endpoint's selected rows, but ChainMenu does not simulate those choices in this overview. Anyone managing sodium for clinical reasons should use the current official calculator and professional guidance rather than a static ranking.

Use the focused pages without losing the source boundary

Each focused Jersey Mike's page compares the Mini, Regular, and Giant rows for one named sub, lists the default ingredients used in the Regular snapshot, and ranks that Regular build against the other 11 selected subs. A missing hot-sub Mini stays visibly blank. The overview table is the fastest way to sort all 36 rows; the focused page is the place to inspect size changes and peer position together.

This independent reference does not use brand logos or imply endorsement. It also does not claim full-menu coverage, allergen safety, or guaranteed portion accuracy. The official nutrition page and endpoint remain the current authority, while the frozen JSON makes the extraction date, selected size, default ingredient rule, and numeric transformation reviewable.

A useful audit starts with the product number and Regular size, then checks which ingredient rows carry the default marker before any totals are summed. If a current restaurant result differs, compare those default markers first rather than assuming a rounding error. This method keeps recipe changes, optional toppings, and numeric rounding as three separate explanations and prevents a customized sub from being mistaken for the archived default build.

Because this release intentionally samples only 12 products, an absent product should be treated as uncollected rather than as zero, discontinued, or nutritionally identical to a listed neighbor. For a listed product, a null Mini means the menu index did not publish that size; it never means the Giant or Regular value was scaled down.

Frequently asked questions

Which Jersey Mike's sizes are covered?

The dataset has Mini, Regular, and Giant rows for 12 selected products. The official menu index omits Mini for the three selected hot subs, so those three Mini rows retain null nutrition values.

Do the totals include default toppings?

Yes. Each published-size total sums only official ingredient rows marked as included by default for that product and size.

Are optional add-ons included?

No. Optional peppers, extra cheese, extra meat, substitutions, and other non-default choices are excluded unless the official endpoint marks them as default.

Why do some totals have decimals?

The official endpoint publishes ingredient-level decimals. ChainMenu follows the public page's calorie rounding and rounds other summed fields to two decimals.

How current is this Jersey Mike's extraction?

The 33 published product-size endpoints and the menu index were retrieved August 18, 2026. Builds and availability may change, so verify current details with the restaurant.
